As if I haven't had enough during the past days, probably the most famous czech missionmaker Stranger caused me more trouble with my Armed Assault carrer. Some time ago, he announced on his sites that he's working on, quote, "Jolly good old-school as you like it ... No conspiracies, no world wars, no face-to-face fights, only you and your rifle."
Unfortunately, that's the only thing that divided me from Stranger concerning the design. While he was perfectioning world's future-threatening conflicts' conspiration teories, I took my time and solved placing of units and thought about attack directions. That could always be my excuse; that we simply made different missions. But nothing like that will help me now and I'll have to work damn hard for Ira Deorum not to look like C-class garbage next to M13. Looking at that for me unbeliavable speed with which this frenetic works and my famous laziness on the other hand, it really doesn't look very good for me...
It wouldn't have to be that hopeless, though. Our projects still vary in "advertisement" style and mainly in the "feel" we want to give to our missions. Stranger, as we could see in his projects over the last three years, remains faithful to more "commercial" progress with big-time effects, shots and music samples from the biggest blockbusters. I, being a lot calmer with my ambitions, am trying to keep my image of more minimalistic creator. And by the way... Who are we kidding, we both know who's the first here ;)
